HOTEL ALIKI

A Historic Seafront Mansion Where Hospitality Meets Heritage

A Home Built on Legacy

The Story of Aliki Hotel

Built in 1895, Aliki Hotel is one of Symi’s most iconic neoclassical mansions — a historic residence originally owned by Vangelitsa, daughter of the respected sea captain and benefactor George Petrides, and later given as a dowry to her daughter, Fotini Gennimata, mother of the renowned Greek politician George Gennimata. Standing proudly on the seafront of Akti Gennimata, just three meters from the Aegean, the hotel continues to embody the island’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.

Today, the Aliki remains a testament to Symi’s elegance: high ceilings, handcrafted details, sunlit rooms, and refined neoclassical lines that connect guests with the island’s past. Every corner reflects stories of tradition, family, and the timeless beauty that makes Symi one of Greece’s most captivating destinations.
